This smoothie is one of my favorites. Substitute any nut for pistachios or completely omit them if you wish. The coconut water adds a touch of sweetness and it’s also natures best source of electrolytes.

    Sounds good! I was wondering in general, how does avocado affect the taste of a shake? We never really had avocados growing up, so I never really have tried it even after leaving the house oh so long ago.

    I bought one at the produce place, but I was unimpressed with it raw. So, I was wondering how it affects flavor and if a shake would be a way I could incorporate them.

      A few tablespoons does not effect the taste at all. Try a quarter of a small avocado to start. It will certainly add creaminess and lots of nutrition!
