  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Ice
  • 1 Small Frozen Banana
  • 2 TBSP Cacao Nibs
  • 1 TBSP Almond Butter
  • 5 Cups Spinach

Blend the first 4 ingredients until smooth and then add spinach and blend again. No other smoothies call for this many greens. Spinach and the like are great but stay away from consuming this much on a daily basis.

      All plants have nutrients and all foods have anti-nutrients. This doesn’t mean you should completely avoid any food unless you personally can’t digest it well. Smoothies make greens easier to digest and we assimilate more nutrients. With this being said, consuming 5 cups per day may have a negative effect over the years. Oxalic acid is what can do some damage.
